Worker Management System

About Supplier Management

At Kent, the welfare of our people who work with us globally is a fundamental core value, it is our strongest belief that we will end every day at Zero. Zero harm to our people, planet, and assets. This includes both physical and psychological harm. It is critical to that aim that we establish environments where risk is understood and controlled. Where people feel safe to raise concerns and empowered to stop work if they feel it is not safe, without fear of retribution or negative connotations.

We believe positive outcomes are a result of a great culture and effective leadership where everyone owns the responsibility to be a custodian of safe outcomes. To underscore and strengthen these commitments, suppliers working for Kent must register and maintain their compliance in an online Workforce Management System.

The system is managed on our behalf by Avetta, workforce management software and safety experts.

HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?

Suppliers will register both their workers in the Kent Workforce Management System.

The process is completed in an online portal by an administrator representing your business. The entire process is detailed on the How to Register page, and is outlined below:

  1. Create a business account in the Workforce Management system
  2. Create profiles for your employees who work for Kent.
  3. Select the Kent site/s they will work on
  4. Select the role/s they perform for Kent on a specific project or site
  5. Upload their qualifications and competencies (licences, tickets)
  6. Book online inductions which they complete before attending site

This information is also verified by Avetta safety specialists. Compliant and inducted workers are issued with access ID cards linked to their online profile – their passport to access Kent sites.
